Licensed Massage Therapist
Anna Hart, LMT
Therapeutic massage, tailored to you. Practicing in Chattanooga, TN — with a clinical background built across Hawaii, Alaska, Michigan, and Idaho.

About me
Born in Germany and drawn by wanderlust, I left home in my early 20s to explore my father’s country — and found my calling on the island of Maui. That spirit of curiosity and deep respect for the body’s capacity to heal shapes my practice today.
After graduating from Maui School of Therapeutic Massage, I built my career in medical and clinical settings across Hawaii, Alaska, Michigan, and Idaho — working with clients navigating sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, motor-vehicle accidents, chronic pain, and cancer recovery.
Conditions I commonly treat include whiplash, scar tissue, thoracic outlet syndrome, piriformis syndrome, carpal tunnel, headaches, and lower back pain.
My work is rooted in myofascial release and neuromuscular trigger point therapy, complemented by the flowing, rhythmic influence of lomi lomi — a detail that addresses both the structural and the holistic dimensions of healing. Every session is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
I am certified in prenatal, postpartum, and craniosacral massage through Nurturing the Mother by Claire Marie Miller — supporting mothers through every stage of their journey, from preparing the body for labor to healing and restoring after birth. I am also trained in visceral manipulation of the abdomen through the Barral Institute, offering abdominal massage to support digestive health and scar tissue recovery, which I believe is foundational to overall wellness.
My approach is evidence-based, yet balanced with a genuine appreciation for the body-mind-spirit connection. What drives me most is something I have witnessed time and again throughout my career — the remarkable resilience of the human body and the profound recoveries that become possible when it receives the right support. My taste in permaculture and the natural world, and my background as an artist, bring intuition and creativity to every treatment. Just as my multicultural upbringing taught me to see the world through many lenses, I meet each client as a whole person — not just a set of symptoms.
A proud member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), I am committed to the highest standards of ethical, evidence-informed care.
I’d love to support you on your healing journey — whether you’re recovering from an injury, preparing for birth, or simply ready to feel better in your body.
